FAQ's

Register your lost item on this website.
  • Follow 4 simple steps, indicating what you lost, when, and where, along with your contact details. Please be as specific as possible, as it will make it easier to identify and match your item.
  • When a lost item is found, it is delivered to the Lost and Found Office at the airport and registered on Foundspot. Once the system finds an item that matches your description, you will receive an email asking you to confirm it and start the courier shipment or collection process at the airport.
Operating hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

It may take between 2 days to 1 week from the time the item is found until you receive the notification. It can take a few days for the items to be delivered to Foundspot and registered.

When you receive an email notifying you that your item has been found, you must confirm it and choose how to retrieve it (in person, via a representative, or through a courier service).

Yes, you can collect the item in person by appointment, by contacting the phone number or email provided in the pickup confirmation within business hours.

Yes, but it must be done by appointment, either by calling the phone number or sending an email as indicated in the discovery confirmation. In the case of collection by an authorized representative, the following documents must be presented or sent:
  • A power of attorney that includes the name of the authorized person.
  • A photocopy of your official ID (INE or other valid identification).
  • A photocopy of the authorized person's ID to collect the item.

Yes. Click 'Proceed with shipping' and fill out the shipping form, including payment details by credit card. The item will be sent via the chosen courier service to the provided address.

The shipping cost depends on the destination and the type of service: standard or premium. After completing the form, the shipping costs will be visible in the summary.

Note: Some countries have additional fees. These fees are not included in the shipping costs, as they are customs duties. To avoid any unpleasant surprises, we recommend checking the customs regulations of the destination country.

Once the shipping form is completed, you will receive an email with the corresponding tracking code and a link to track the shipment.

  • Delivery time depends on the destination and the type of service selected: standard or premium.
  • After completing the shipping form, you will be able to view the delivery summary.
  • Please also consider a handling time of 1 to 2 days at the Returns Office (open from Monday to Saturday, except holidays). Customs deductions are not considered part of the transit time and depend on the requirements and/or import mechanisms of each country.

Typically, lost items take between 2 to 4 days to reach the Lost and Found Office. For various reasons, it may take longer in some cases. After one month, unresolved searches are permanently closed.

The items found at Monterrey Airport are managed by authorized personnel. However, it is important to mention that this depends on the items being delivered to the airport.
Foundspot provides the platform for managing found items and also offers technical assistance in case of issues.

You will only receive a notification if there is a match with your lost item. We advise you to follow these steps:
  • Ensure you have entered all the information and specifications about the item to help us identify it.
  • Check your spam or junk email folder to make sure the corresponding email is not there; sometimes emails are automatically filtered as spam.
  • Make sure you have waited the specified time in the 'How It Works' section to receive the corresponding email. The search and matching process can take time.

Items that are received and found will only be stored for a period of 45 days from the time of receipt. If no claim is made within this time, the item will be handled according to internal policies.
